Realizing, I don’t get enough alone time with my second born, I make it a point to take her out for lunch or park dates, for quality mother-daughter time.

The other day,  I picked her up from preschool and took her to lunch at our local pizza place. As we chatted about random things under the sun, she sat there nibbling on her pizza and putting olives on her tiny fingers.

Then, she looked up and said, “Mom, you know what?”

“What sweetie?” I queried.

She smiled at me and exclaimed, “You are perfect!”

In that moment, those three words made that memory priceless.

If you are reading this, please know – for your little ones, you are perfect too!
